Deep Down In The Silver Pail chapter 3

before we even had to go out,  we need a mode of transport. we are not going hiking endlessly and exhausting ourselves. so before we go we scavenged the area around us before we go on a search for a vehicle.

i let Riko out on his own hunt, even if nature provide the 4/5 hunt failure law he is still determine to fill his stomach full. he will hunt again. so we're of foraging the hot skinny corpses. we do not know what had happened to those poor people. but we had to use what they had left behind.

Crystal then search the bone-yard in the old restaurant. now covered in sticky webs, very few water, it actually houses no spiders to fill their bellies. she then found something in the corpse of what seems to be an engineer, a military one as she interpreted.

"what's this you have in your hand you poor sir..." she kindly responded to the corpse with a sorrow face.

"mind if i take it?"

the skull with a spiders web in its eye hole made no reply of course.

"well then, i thank for your kindness somehow. hope your life in the heavens may be well greater than down here." she said peaceful the corpse with small gentle tears coming out of her eyes.  

that was a pretty common scene actually, we all but Riko did it.

she then take what appears to be a large 1 meter long steel thick stick. she had no idea why the engineer had this on his or her hand. she then looks again at the dusty corpse now being petrified and found a large toolbox near that corpse. she look at it and  found some spearhead like object for conventional use like opening steel doors for example or maybe as a weapon and the list goes on depending on the head.

she then brings the toolbox with her back to the shelter.

Rex goes to the nearby store now dead for quite sometime. he then found  a valuable but dusty cooking pot, guess now we can have some soup. overall he just found more roots. Maia head over to the garden again just to gather the most seeds she can get for future farming times when soil are available.  Me? well i had to gather books and some documents for information. after all knowledge is power.

then we're off to search for the vehicle.... we head down the road where our hospital, our shelter is located. there we found an old motorbike, Crystal use the stick in which she just calls it a utility stick to get the fuel of it due to the bike being as it worse condition.

then we had left through the small alley way darkened by 2 tall broken buildings... and it was still at daytime hours. from there we found a sports car at the end.

"wow... now thats a sports car, with... a missing... wheel." Maia said.

"well... i could've thought that this might be the cause of the crash, after all look at the headlight and engine! their busted as hell." Crystal responded as she began investigating the wreck.

"well, as much as old cover of DVDs say, it does not make sense to use this crap for riding across ALL terrains." yea.. Rex said that. we do find old DVDs and some form of mediums with no way of watching so .

"well lets just search somewhere else then, i mean we haven't cover up from the hospital right" i said with a sweat-drop.  

throught the time ,Riko was too busy looking around like a curious child on a world tour.

then after all the nodding we had, we head back and up. there we found something interesting, unlike in the state of wreck. that object was in its working condition...
